Listening to the whine of a cotton picker in the evening, the rush of air hitting you from standing on the module builder as a load is dumped, rymthic sound of cotton being packed, watching the hydraulic pressures on the gauge as you rock the builder off the ground. The Sunbelt Expo in the fall where I can see all the machinery I want of not need. Meet the people, see the exhibits. Spreading chicken litter, seeding fields in fall on open tractors, listening to the Georgia Bulldogs on the radio, wearing my jean jacket on cool clear days near the end of November, MAN I LOVE IT ALL :>).

Today's Featured Article - Show Coverage: Argyle and Mt. Pleasant Labor Day Weekend Shows - by Cindy Ladage. The last fling before summer fades into fall and we get busy in the fields are the annual Labor Day tractor shows. Beginning on September 5th and running through the 7th, the Argyle Antique Gas and Engine Show is held at the Argyle State Park. Located in West Central Illinois, the pine forest was the setting for the opening of the 22nd show.
