Best? My current one as an Insurance Inspector. The company is headquartered in Columbia, SC, my District Manager is in Duluth, MN, and I'm here in Nebraska doing my job without anyone looking over my shoulder. My sole contact with the company is by computer and telephone.
Worst? Buildings and Grounds Supervisor for a local public school district. I reported to the Superintendent, who was also recognized as the town drunk. He was so far gone himself, he had to make everyone around him miserable to feed his own ego. He couldn't pick on the tenured faculty 'cause they could tell him where to go, so he made life hell for the support staff and non-tenured faculty. And the School Board was a bunch of wimps who were afraid to do anything about it for fear he'd sue them.
