The words �from which the largest share of the dollar value added to . . . has originated� are substituted for �in which 50 percent or more of the dollar value added of . . . originated. If no country accounts for 50 percent or more of the dollar value, then the country of origin is the country from which the largest share of the value added originated� for clarity and to eliminate unnecessary words. This includes the cost of materials and the machining of those materials �plus the assembly and labor costs incurred for the final assembly of such engines and transmissions� and other subassemblies.
