What I'm surprised about is that no one has mentioned that there is a chance now that your son has been suspended, that he may be kicked out of the military. Seen it done before so you might want to do some checking before you go into the school and raise heck. You might be best to just lay low otherwise your son will be SOL'd. There is a big difference between being free to do something and having it be right. The military (as desperate as they are) are not fans of folks who do not conform and this whole mess is a good demonstration of such. Just because the papers are signed isn't a guaranty he will get in.
