I guess I gotta admit you have pretty much identified the problem - our society is so diverse that it is truly impossible to get everyone to agree on a definitive set of rules. I am certainly in agreement on the mini-skirts as far as being disruptive. There are a lot of mommas, however, who would call you and me too old-fashioned. They believe that their little girl is just so cute in her little mini-skirt and it would be terrible to not allow her to wear them. I guess we will all just end up agreeing to disagree, but it has been a very interesting discussion!
