I just loaded a dead Case 480CK with a come-along, and bumping the starter in gear when we got to the rear wheels on the trailer edge. We were going to jack-knife the truck and use another truck to pull the machine up, but as a last resort. Once it was loaded, I did use another truck alongside it to adjust and center it.
I loaded an 8n yesterday with a $50 Walmart Master winch and a come-along, and that went surprisingly smooth, aside from bending a rail on my trailer...
