You need to get a copy of Norm Swinford's book on AC construction machinery. It has a little info on the BD3. I learned to operate a grader in one back in the early 60's; my dad was hired by our township to run theirs in his spare time. The BD2 and BD3 were built between 1948 and 1955 and had 2 and 3 cylinder Detroit diesels respectively.
