My sympathy to the family. I also doubt that age is in the mix. I am in the process of taking back my ditch bank from the wood chucks and I can see how easy it would be to miss an under ground den at the edge that a tractor tire could drop into. I had one cave in Saturday but I was a foot away from the edge of the steep bank. I had drove over the same place a dozen times and then it just caved in. I had a three point disk on so it was not a problem but if I would have had just a blade and closer to the edge it could have been.
