Chances there're some us who use the internet like you're saying on all types of farm and construction equipment. Buying and selling, and from time to time hiring interstate hauling of the equipment.
What I am wondering about here is this. You say that you will not buy a common tractor unless you can see it.
I would like to ask you how do you think an internet deal would be more secure on a rare item deal than a common tractor deal.
What I have found in my dealings on items from here is that regardless if the item is $5 or $50,000, if you seriously need the item or don't need the item the bottom line is that people will mislead you wheather in person or from a remote location.
I realize that we must from time to time use security deposits, money transfers and pay with plastic over the phone due to the fact that an individual seller does'nt care about your line of credit or worthiness of your checks. Some will only accept cash or a certified check, for which I cannot blame them.
How do you think it more safe to deal via the internet over long distances, versus local area internet sellers?
