I would send a "good intention" deposit then hunt up something to haul to where it is on my truck.
There are some hook-um boys that work the classifieds here at ytmag, both selling tractors and hauling them.
One thing I've learned is that once you send the money, that tractor is your's because you're buying it in an, as is, where is condition. All the seller has to legally do is have a reasonable facimilly of what you thought you bought.
Bottom line is that you need to watch out.
Remember they only supply friends or satisfied customers as references.
Been there, been burned, came back poorer but wiser....
