I guess that would depend on how wore the blades are. If they are wore out and have no cutting edge left, it's not going to cut them up very well, BUT it will spread them around and mix some dirt with them. Personally, I would like to find a disc like that, they are well built and do a good job. Check your area and see if anyone has a disc blade roller that sharpens them. Not that expensive and really helps them cut better. Where are you and how much? If you are close enough and don't want it, I would be interested. Chris
