You are lucky if they only wrecked a 1/2 acre of beans. But.......think how you would feel if that guy died that fell off that horse. And then here you are going over to ask for compensation for some beans, maybe 40-60 bushels worth, (I dont know). Where my parents live a middle aged lady lost control of her car while she was having a stroke. She ran her car on my parents lawn and ran the car past their house and into the lake and she drown---True story. Happened in 2005. My parents didnt think for 1 second that "their lawn" should have been fixed cause some 40 year old lady ran over it with her car and drown in the lake. If you are really out a lot of money like say---$200 or more then approach it with a nice neighbor attitude to the farm owner.
