I disagree with your point that private companies versus the government. A Company's sole purpose is to create profit, govenrment's is not. People that work for the government do not have a vested interest in working as efficiently as possible, as they aren't really responsible to anyone, (other than the general populace that never hold them accountab;e anyway), unlike corporations that are held accountable buy shareholders. I think this is a truism that cannot be denied. Waste fruad and abuse are rampid throughtout government, not so, or at least not nearly to the same degree, in the private sector, or they would go out of business.
I think that if you ever saw and heard our governor speak, you would see him for the honest, extremely competent, caring, real person that he is. I trust him completely, and I've never said or thought that about any politician ever.
