Walt Davies, thank you for making my day. What beautiful pictures! Aren't you and all our other country friends out there so glad we have what we have in this country and live where we live? Here in Western Indiana, I often sit on my deck in the morning to wake up and have a couple of cups of coffee and in the evening after a long day and just watch the sun come up and set, watch the deer come up out of the woods with a big buck often leading the way and a doe and her twins romping around, then often I see the wild turkeys come out when they think it's safe, and peck around in the pasture. I listen to the whippoorwills sing their evening song, and I just set and love and appreciate all of those things. About every morning, my son comes by on his way to work and have coffee and talk, and sometimes we just sit quietly without saying a word and listen to the birds sing before the sun comes up and welcome the day. No TV, no politics, no war for the moment, no sadness, no crime in Indy -- just the peace of a beautiful day in a beautiful State and country.
