Sure but what has made oil go up? Consumption and alot of it to run large SUV's and heat/cool huge houses that are now being left to the repo man or worse the gov't steps in prints some money and saves the guy that bought a house bigger than his wallet.The result is inflation which will continue until there are some high interest rates put in place to discourage hyper-consumption.The guy that is really taking it on the chin is the fellow that spent prudently and saved some cash in the bank,he's now drawing a couple percent interest but his money is worth about 10% every year.
