the 6.9 from fords is a old harvester medium duty truck motor , i think group 6 and 7 type truck,s.the only trouble fords had was getting harvester to sell it to them soner,i think the only gas to disel harvester ever made was the 549 that they put in the 1586 tractors with the silly 4-6-8 running order wen not under load.
