Thank you, That explains what I need after I start the tractor. Once I start I will turn the ignition key back to "on" that will turn off the no charge battery light. That should help my battery stay charged. My ignition key does not bounce back like my pickup truck so I have to move it back to the middle "on" setting to make the no charge battery light go out. Not sure if that has anything to do with the Cold and Hot gauge as sometimes when I leave it on the start setting the gauge stays to the left or Hot. If I switch the ignition key to the right or "on" setting the gauge goes to the middle or cold setting. thanks for all your help. Any idea how long I leave the igition switch on heat before trying to start the tractor? Thanks again, Mike
