Sorry but one more question. I just purchased this tractor as you may know from my questions, but I have changed the oil and filter, changed the oil in the air filter and cleaned out all the gunk from the bottom of the air cleaner and greased all the grease fittings and now I know why the battery is not charging. But under further inspection when I start the tractor and put the ignition switch back to "on" all the lights go off (battery and oil pressure) but I was mistaken the cold-hot temp gauge quickly (1-3 seconds) goes to the left or hot side. I know the oil is full and the radiator has water and anti-freeze and the fan belt and fan is fine. I dont even think it can get that hot so fast. Any advice, wiring or how can I test the gauge or motor temp? any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks, Mike
