The South Bend clutch kit (Con OFE) arrived yesterday--this included the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, HD clutch fork, fork pivot (plastic) and throw-out bearing. I was surprised to see "LUK" on the pressure plate. I believe I could have purchased these components cheaper from LUK (or a LUK supplier) but was told by several folks that the SB products are designed for more rigorous use. Anybody want to weigh in on this? Any experience with either of the product lines? The truck being repaired is a 2001 F350 SRW diesel 4x4. Thanks in advance.
