Depends on how complete the conversion to LP was.
A true LP engine will have a different manifold. Gas engines need some heat transfer to vaporize the fuel. LP engines vaporize the fuel in the convertor so they don't need this. Also cooler air is more dense thusly has more oxygen thus ability to provide more power. I am not familiar what the setup for heat transfer is on a gas Slant 6 but if the intake and exhaust have no connection you will need to switch manifolds to have a engine that runs well.
