A while back I asked for ideas to get out an allen head set screw that was recessed in a hole and rounded out. I tried heating with the torch but it was recessed too far so I heated the pulley where it was, still wouldn't come out. I was about ready to try drilling or easy out, when a friend suggested sticking a welding rod right in the set screw and letting it cook that way. I let it heat until the rod melted off and then it screwed right out. Even longer ago I posted about an 89 chevy p/u that got hot when the fan clutch quit. I replaced clutch and thermostat but temp gauge still went up and down. Checked with pressure gauge and it was building too much pressure, either head gasket or head, hope its not one or both heads, were almost new vortec heads. Anyhow not enough time to fix myself so took it to the shop. Thanks for all the suggestions. Lee
