Hey, those were fun.. I had a sudden thought of my own after watching "Nightline" last night. A Nightline guy and their tv camera rode along to see if gasoline is really cheaper in Mexico and if you can fill up there. They went with a guy who claimed to regularly go across the border to fill up. Has an extra tank in the bed of his pickup. On the U.S. side of the border diesel was $4.89, 3 blocks away in Mexico it was $2.15! The Mexicans even do full service, filling the tanks and washing the windshield. So, I'm wondering, if 9-11 would have happened in Mexico City would THEY be in Iraq and we'd have $2.15 fuel?
