5 Years ago------I know the population in China is increasing every day and the number of people driving cars increases also causing an increase in demand. Still the population increase didn't happen overnight or in the last few years. On the other hand when Katrina went through N.O. the price of gas went up and suppliers saw that people would pay the price and life would go on. Since then the price of gas has nearly doubled. in other words the price has doubled in the course of about 3 years with most of the increase in the last year, give or take, and while I know supply and demand makes a difference I know the demand hasn't doubled in that same amount of time......
