I'm thinking of buying one, only problem is i don't have a good place upstairs to put it ("open" floor plan ranch), thinking of putting it downstairs but not sure how much heat this will get upstairs. Ranch is about 1800 sq. feet.
The one I'm looking at can burn corn or pellets, I figured I can plant an acre of corn, just not sure how I would get it all shelled, to supplement the pellets. Also, in two years or so, maybe corn will be back down to a price it would make sense to buy it at?
