I would use zinc chromate for a primer on aluminum and then spray on a sealer over the primer. I would an auto type paint such as acrylic enamel with hardener from Dupont or Martin Senour. They also have single step urethane with hardener that's a little more expensive, but will last when exposed to the elements. The siding should be sanded smooth and then washed with Prepsol before applying paint. Hal
