My Dad has a Cockshutt 1250 with the 4 cylinder Fiat Diesel. He needs a starter for it. The current starter has been rebuilt a couple times, and is supposedly no longer able to be rebuilt. These are 24 volt starters. Does anyone know where a reasonable starter can be aquired, or has anyone converted these to a 12 volt system? Anything else use these motors/starters? He is looking for any suggestions on getting this thing going again. Thanks in advance.
