I have a Harmon boiler that will do wood or coal. I burn nut coal. $180 a ton, 3 ton min, $30 or $40 del. fee. I'm 30 mile from the coal dealer in PA. My friends burn rice coal in several kinds of stove and furnaces. I had a Keystoker myself. Loved it, was built like a tank. I think one of my friends is going to by a new Keystoker hot air furnace. I don't think you can beat hard coal BTUs per dollar. I think the Harmon site has a link to compare fuel cost per BTU if not I'll find it and post link.
