I made the comment that putting up the hay in road ditches wouldn't be feasible due to the cost of fuel and the amount it takes to mow, rake, and bale for just a few bales of hay... he replied with, "There isn't much of anything there, either."
Since that time there has been about an inch of rain and hopefully more coming this week, but some of the hay has already been set back quite a bit...
