I think you be suprised how little fuel you will use raking with 706. I checked running an ford 8000 (100 HP) raking ( 10 wheel rake) and used about 1.8 gallon an hour. This was just smaller field 28 acres and not a great test, but I was pleased with what I found on fuel usage. I am going to try to keep track of each task this year and see what fuel I am using. But a backup tractor is great to have if you can get the AC going
