In a free market, which what we still are in. What a recession does is realign banks to be responsible. It is too bad that banks make bad choices. High energy costs (at least in the past) made car/trucks makers more fuel eff. engines. And now with high energy costs it makes it tough for us middle class guys. The Banks are to blame and so are irresponsible people who couldnt afford the home equity loans. Dont shop at Wal-mart and employ Chinamen.
