I've built Deere and Ford New Holland engines for years..I find the prices have escalated over the years beyond belief..The last Deere 310 I rebuilt NAPA engine parts were used..It worked well , but the Deere piston/liner kits are a lot nicer to use..I found a couple of ring gaps excessive and returned the NAPA supplied rings for replacement..Other than that , other parts were OK..I know what you say about pricing of parts..There's no reason in the world that those parts should cost that much..It's a shame too because thay Shibaura is a nice engine to build..
