Where do you get that information? This country has a hellava lot more than 10% of it's oil supply not being used. If we were to let it be known that we were going to be drilling for our own oil, those same speculaters that are driving the price up, would be bidding the price right back down. I see that the mighty Dems. are "grilling" those "evil" oil execs. again. The execs. are telling them we need to get more of our own oil. But no, The Dems. are threatening to enact the "windfall profit tax" Which will be passed right on to us. And lead to shortages when these global companys go elsewhere with production, to avoid the tax here. I'm wondering how much further this is going to go. What are we going to do this winter, pay $7-$8 a gallon for heating oil? The answer is to increase our own oil production here. Jack
