Bubba, I have a 1953 jubilee and had the same problem. I went on this forum and got all the same answers started with fuel so I took of the copper fuel line and replaced it with temporary clear hose so I could see if it was a fuel problem, it wasent.Then everyone started saying it was the coil,it wasent. So I started looking deeper and when I took the point and condenser mounting plate off I found that the wire going to the points was old and frayed so I replaced it and the problem went away.
