The lack-of-interest aspect is a result of the high fuel prices. It takes a lot of interest to justify spending several hundred dollars to attend a show for the umpteenth time. Really enjoy the "homey" atmosphere at the MM show in Homestead over father's day, but that is nearly 400 miles round trip. The Lacon show is also that weekend and only around 50 miles, so a trip to Lacon appears to be in the cards.
