So far the most expensive was the skidloader$22,000. My little "super 66" baler was $100, I bought a New holland 310 baler w/kicker and a metal throw rack for $1700, My IH 544D was $3200, my 46 H was $700, My oliver disc was$100, the ol IH 456 planter with fert box's was $75, NH #55 hay rake was $200, 2 kasten running gears were $100 each. Ol IH plow #60 3-14's was free. New Idea #217 manure spreader was free if I fixed it, I did. Just bought a big gravity box on westindorf(SP?) 10 ton for $800. I am small potaotes right now, but will grow as land becomes available. Been looking for a bigger tractor for 2 years now. Has a nice 1750 lined up for $3500, but now the gentleman hasnt called back to finish the deal. Pick up an issue of "tractor house", it's amazing what equipment cost these days, and how big they are. My uncle used to farm 1000 acres with 2 806's, a 706, a 300, and a super H, 715 combine. He took the buyout for the cows, decided the bar was the place to be on hot days. Now 1/2 the farm has been sold and whats left is rented by a person who's land he used to rent. Wow , that was waaaay more than you asked for wasnt it?
