Well, according to our figures, it costs about 50 cents to make each square bale using our unroller. That is taking into account round bale twine, square bale twine, fuel, and so on. I can take one of my round bales, which I charge 20 dollars for, and turn it into 60 dollars worth of square bales in about 8 minutes. To me, that spells pretty good profit. Everyone has thier opinion about doing this, just like everyone has thier opinion about round bales versus square bales. I'm not trying to convince anyone about anything with this post, I'm just trying to gather a bit of information so I can continue this project to the best of my ability. But I do thank you for your opinion.
