Was rotary mowing on Friday, shut off the pto while I went inside for a few minutes, came back out, try to push the pedal and can't move it. Can push just enoughto start the PTO but not lock it in. Also cannot knock it back to engage the brake. Pretty sure the PTO cluch is too tight, just can't believe it could tighten up like that. Anyway, the book is pretty sparse and doesn't describe the adjustment process very well. Can anyone please describe the adjustment process in detail for me if possible? Also, can anyone think of a reason for this to happen, or another reason that would cause these symptoms? The PTO made no unusual noises. All help appreciated.
