This unroller works a bit different from most of the ones that are already out there. I make 4X4 rounds and can feed one into my square baler with this unroller in about 8 minutes. Due to the design and the way it is positioned before the square baler, it dethatches the hay as it feeds it. Sometimes I have to "shake" loose the last foot of the roll where it might be folded, but it really isn't that big of a deal to me. That is a lot easier to deal with than making squares in the field when you are a one man operation (at least in my opinion). My personal operation is to do all rounds (about 1500 per year), get them in the barns the day they are baled, then I do squares "on demand" during the rest of the year inside the barn during any kind of weather.
