Honestly I am pretty clueless about this all - but we were given a JD 111 Ride on mower and here are the issues I need help with to get it going.
Issue No. 1 - Apparently there is an electrical issue because they said the battery was just replaced but I can"t get ti started without jumpstarting it - and then it is dead as soon as I turn it off.
Issue No. 2 - The PTO is having issues. When I first get it running - I can engage the PTO using the switch - the blades run for about 30 seconds then they quit and I can"t get the switch to engage them again. Unless I shut it off, jump it, and engage the switch again.
If I need to take it to a repair shop I guess I will - I just wanted to see how serious this was and if it is something that i could be guided through with a little help.
I will greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thank you.
