It depends on what part of the tube is leaking how big the hole is. If the leak isn't too big and located on the tread area of the tire and the tube has never had fluid in it then it should work. But if the leak is on the side wall or valve stem or too big or fluid has been pumped out then probably not. I like to use a gallon on a tire that size. The safest bet is to take it apart and fix the tube and check the tire. Sealer works better as a preventive than a repair.
