Not talking from personal experience, but my understanding is that grey market tractors of that make are used tractors from Japan that have been carefully repainted in a cheap labor area. I understand the ones that come directly from Japan are usually good. Some Japanese used ones were sold first to Vietnam where they were worn out and then given the Dupont rebuild.
