Some kids at age 10 can, some adults never do learn how to drive. Depends.................... Kids know little of the laws of physics, mechanical items etc. All is well until something out of the ordinary occurs.
It's catch 22, most lessons learned how to keep out of trouble were learned while in trouble. Trick is to learn without wrecking something or getting crippled, killed.
My kids are put on a go-kart with a rollbar, seat belts and a helmet. Then set loose to turn donuts, power slides, run into stuff etc
