Checked fertilizer prices at last place that sells bulk fertilizer in Weatherford Texas, and I almost fell to the floor. 34-0-0 at $450 per ton. 15-15-15 at $565 pr ton. Coastal bermuda and sudan hay raisers are really going to suffer here this year. Hay prices has to go up. Many folks will not fertlize and yeilds/quality of coastal will fall substantially. Store manager said that fertilizer will go even higher with next filling of their bulk tanks, because China is buying up huge quantities of the chemicals for production of the fertilize. Just another sad day for whats left of local farmers. Tom
