My 1969 Saab Sonett with 4 speed Trans has over 300,000 Miles on it and the original oil. Learned many years ago that oil does not break down it gets dirty a sealed tranny should last indefently with the same oil. But automatic trannys can get dirty from the where on the bands or disc which ever it has. Walt
PS I don't need anyone saying that I'm going to loose the Saab tranny sooner or later because its already much much later.
