Mom has the same problem anytime the grandkids are in. They myspace the thing to death. Hughesnet has horrible customer service. Once the modem began smoking and melting, so they disconnected the power. They called to report it, and the technician insisted that it be plugged back in to see if he could access the modem from his location. He was quite insistent about it. Mom spoke to his manager and got it straightened out. I am sure the India based customer service hires the top people, but it does not help.
Try ordering something from Circuit City and see where the call goes!
