Thanks to all Yaw'l, After lookin'at the photo that is the road I'm gonna walk...I walked over to My 1981 one ton GMC, been tryin to find time to pull the 454, 4 speed and dually rear end, scrap the rest, the alternator on the 454 looks like the one in the photo, Do You think it will work? If it won't,I'll buy the recomended one. I've walked this earth 66 years, somehow not much electrial Knowledge has fallen on Me. After I wire to the amp meter, Where do I go? Is it possible to post a sketch showin' a simple diagram from the alt, ,switch, and where ever else it runs? I want to keep it as simple as possible. Again..Thank Yaw'l Wild Bill
