That"s the problem, it"s not old enough. A 5 year old pickup will be even harder to troubleshoot than a 19 year old pickup. What he really needs is a 29 plus year old pickup that doesn"t have as much or any computer crap on it and is easy to troubleshoot. But that"s just my view since I work on all my own stuff. The way I see it with the old stuff I don"t have to worry about thousands of dollars worth of scan tools, etc and then having to add to the collection with every new year or vehicle.
