Here in Southeast BC we have had about a 30 ft. snowfall this year, i still have snow about 2 and a half feet deep on my lawn, more where it is piled. That 80 ft. pile you were talking about is where city crews hauled and dumped snow from clearing city streets.Most Cities i know off up here have snowdumps around the cities nowadays as the public want clearer streets.Most snow would be melted by summer, i,m at the 3300 ft. level in the Canadian Rockies and the snow on the mountains even higher up than me is usually all gone by early July.Today i awoke to two inches of new snow and it is snowing hard now and suppose to continue all weekend, nice spring huh,lol.
