I suppose since about 50% of the people around here in Michigan and the surrounding states are GM,Ford, and Chrysler retiree's making $3000 dollars a month pension and medical insurance it would still greatly benefit most of us to keep buying from the big 3. Think of the big three as the foundation that has formed this country and every other industry is created as a result of the automobile. It is like the question, what came first, the chicken or the egg? Well for the USA it was Henry Ford and the automobile. More prosperity has been single handedly brought to this country as the result of the automobile than any other industry there is. The big three did it. Don't bite the hand that feeds all of you. After working at Toyota and Honda for 30 years you wont walk away with $3,000 a month pension and Blue Cross. Maybe a plaque with your name engraved on it. I would buy a Chevy Cobalt or a Ford Focus or a Dodge Nitro. No Honda's or Toyota's in our driveway. They are junk after 15 years too.
