I've got several. Just buy used if you really want one. I have two 91 Volkswagen diesel Jettas that average around 46 MPG on the highway but have gotten 51 MPG at times. I also have two 1981 Chevy Chevette diesels - both get around 43 MPG highway but can get as high as 48 MPG. Also got an Isuzu 4WD diesel mini-truck that can get 36 MPG if I baby it.
